Eighty-two acres (33 hectares) are under vine, planted predominantly with Sangiovese alongside select international varietals including Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. For over four decades, the current owners have devoted themselves to elevating the estate’s enological identity—restructuring the vineyards, implementing modern winemaking techniques, and attaining full organic certification in 2009. The estate now produces approximately 75,000 bottles annually, with 75 percent of its output distributed to established markets abroad. Equally distinguished is the production of DOP-certified organic extra virgin olive oil, crafted from Correggiolo, Moraiolo, and Leccino olives. Each element of the estate contributes to a sustainable agricultural ecosystem rooted in authenticity and long-term stewardship. The architectural heart of the estate is an eleventh-century hamlet that has been meticulously reimagined as a refined rural retreat. The cluster of historic stone buildings surrounds a central courtyard and includes a series of guest residences and a private villa. Exteriors are clad in natural stone with arched loggias and clay rooflines that blend seamlessly with the landscape. Interiors preserve their Tuscan character—terracotta flooring, hand-hewn beams, exposed masonry, and traditional fireplaces—offering an atmosphere of rustic sophistication and understated grandeur. The estate’s wine production facility extends over 22,356 square feet (2,077 square meters) and is an architectural statement in itself.
