The city of Bar is characterized by long, hot and dry summers,and mild and rainy winters. The maximum mean monthly temperature in July is27.8°C, and the minimum mean monthly temperature in January is 4.3°C. The summer season lasts from mid-May to mid-October, when the water temperature reaches up to 27°C. Bar is one of the sunniest places in Europe, with an average of 2550 sunny hours per year.
