DIEZ and DLD join forces

Dubai Land Department (DLD) and Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) have teamed up to develop innovative property technology (PropTech) solutions. As part of this strategic alliance, artificial intelligence and blockchain will be integrated into the housing sector. The emirate will also provide essential support, such as business licenses, office spaces, and access to venture capital.

Smart Rent Index launched in Dubai

Dubai has introduced the Smart Rent Index, implemented by the Dubai Land Department. Powered by artificial intelligence, the index aims to stabilize rental prices, curb inflation, and enhance market transparency.

Rental adjustments will be based on the analysis of contract prices, neighborhood price trends, and building classifications. Moreover, landlords are required to give 90 days’ notice before raising rents. If a property qualifies for a rent increase but the required notice was not provided, the increase will not be applied.

PropTech connect 2026 conference coming to the UAE

Dubai is preparing to host PropTech Connect 2026, the world’s largest property technology event. The conference will accelerate the digital evolution of real estate and will be held under Dubai’s Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033. Global leaders, investors, and technology firms will gather to explore the future of AI, blockchain, and other digital innovations in the property sector.

Ajman’s housing market shows strong growth

In January 2025, Ajman recorded 1,321 transactions worth a total of AED 1.57 billion, a 20% increase compared to January 2024. The highest transaction value reached AED 50 million in Al Zahia, while mortgage transactions totaled AED 257.7 million. The top areas for sales were Al Helio 2, Al Yasmeen, and Al Zahia.

Attractive offers from Dubai developers

Dubai’s real estate market is seeing new offers and incentives, including buyout plans and zero service fees. Many developers are offering appealing deals such as guaranteed annual returns, waived service charges, and full buyout options. These strategies are designed to capture buyer attention in an increasingly competitive market.
