A Quinta do Relógio data do século XIX e foi construída em 1860, sob a direcção do arquitecto Cinatti de Siena. Era a residência de Sua Alteza Real o Rei Fernando II. Nos seus jardins, a torre do relógio que deu o nome à propriedade faz parte da mesma. Nessa altura, a propriedade pertencia aos herdeiros de Sua Alteza Real o Rei D. João I e D. A Quinta do Relógio tem uma linguagem e atmosfera neoclássica, presente na suntuosidade da ornamentação dos edifícios, rodeada por uma vegetação imensa e densa, da qual se destacam várias espécies de árvores pela sua configuração e antiguidade, como Araucária, Plátanos e Dracaenas.
