The Chapel of Our Lady of Fátima is a private church attached to this terraced house. It was built by Joaquim Caetano in fulfilment of a promise to Our Lady of Fátima and inaugurated on 13 December 1942 by the Bishop of Leiria during a pastoral visit to Juncal.
Juncal became important for its ceramic’s activity, with the production of utilitarian and decorative crockery, as well as tiles.
