Neste momento tem um projeto pré-aprovado para renovar toda a quinta nomeadamente a mecanização da vinha, com benefício com a letra A/C. A quinta fica localizada em zona vinhateira do Douro e está rodeada de outras quintas e propriedades. Tem, de um dos lados, o rio Corgo e do outro a Quinta Horta Osório. Fica perto do miradouro de Santa Bárbara, na zona da Cumieira, em Santa Marta de Penaguião. Nas proximidades fica a freguesia, com uma zona habitacional, e algumas valências e serviços, nomeadamente uma farmácia, o Campo de futebol, o Centro social, etc. Relativamente aos acessos, a N2 fica na zona. Esta região, que é banhada pelo Rio Douro e produz vinho há mais de 2000 anos, entre os quais, o mundialmente célebre vinho do Porto.
