The entrance of the foyer and dining room is a meticulously appointed Scavolini kitchen made of timber, glass and eye-catching red two-pac lacquered cabinetry, with a large central island that seats six and incorporates a rugged six-burner gas range that would make a professional chef drool. The spectacular dining room offers a huge concrete table which had to be manoeuvred into place, inch by inch, with the large crane. It was a nail-biting engineering feat which took more than a little confidence.
The beautiful gem offers a five bedroom five bathroom; the focal point of the 402 square foot master bedroom, with its high-vaulted timber ceiling, it’s an exquisite custom glass panel that serves as a backdrop for the king-sized Roche Bobois leather bed. The panel, 12 feet wide and nine feet high, was created by an art-glass fabricator in Florida working from a delicate painting by the St. Kitts artist, Kate Spencer whose originals adorn the walls of many of the villa’s impressive rooms.
The impressive home theatre was installed by a company from Atlanta, the electrical system, which includes seven miles of wiring, by a company from Barbados, with everything connected to touch panels throughout the house.
The infinity pool, for the record, is 80 feet long and the infinity element includes a view that lets you gaze for mile after mile after mile of the Caribbean Sea far below. Keelin Kennedy also created a concrete 14-seat poolside dining table for entertainment with family and friends.
