The old Catalan manor house (masía) "Mill of the Bach" (El Molino de Bach) for restoration with an extensive plot of 5.4 hectares of land is located in the municipality of Flasa (Flaçà), in the district of Lower Empordà (Baix Empordà), near the Gala-Dali castle in Púbol.


The old building, which was erected at the end of the 18th century, was once a grain mill located on the banks of the Rifós river (Riera de Rifós). At a later stage, additional constructions were added to the main building.

Currently, the manor consists of basement, main ground floor and first floor. The total area of the building with all extensions is about 1.200 m2.
In the process of reconstruction the building can be reformed into a spacious mansion for a large family, or it can be divided into several townhouses (there is already permission to carry out these modifications).

There is also a project to create a small (up to 17 rooms) hotel for rural tourism on the basis of the manor: the project involves placing a reception and a spacious living room, toilets (including for disabled people) and a service area, a technical room, a warehouse and laundry room. On the ground floor there will be a bar, a living room, a kitchen with a pantry, a large dining room overlooking the garden and the pool, six double rooms with private bathroom. On the top floor there will be 11 double rooms with bathrooms.

The estate is beautifully located, it is just two kilometers from the medieval village of La Pera and three kilometers from Pubol with the famous Gala-Dali castle, next to the Flaçà train station, from where you can directly reach Girona, Barcelona and France by Renfe trains. Also there is a developed bus service (SARFA) between the cities of the district, as well as Girona and Barcelona.
The beaches of the Costa Brava are just 20 minutes away by car.
