Palou Alt is a quiet residential area situated on the border of Sant Pere de Ribes, a small Catalan town with local shops, bars and restaurants, including a lively outdoor market on Fridays. From this neighbourhood, you can walk to the shops, local supermarkets, bakers, bus stop and local restaurants or sit in one of the pleasant terrace cafés in the main plaza. There are also many pretty walks through the vineyards or dry river bed in the surrounding countryside just a few minutes' walk from the property. The charming coastal town of Sitges is just 5 minutes away.

Buses run direct from Sant Pere de Ribes to Sitges as well as Vilanova, another lovely town 5km away. Barcelona is a 45-minute bus ride from Sant Pere de Ribes and offers some of the country's best shopping, night life, restaurants and museums. There are even hourly night buses back from Barcelona.
