Approaching the property for the first time will give you an instant “Wow” factor.
There’s plenty of parking space in the carport which sits in front of the koi carp pond and waterfall. And then through the magnificent wooden entrance door, the ocean is right before your eyes.
As you enter the property there are stairs to the right leading to three of the en-suite bedrooms
(rooms 4, 3 and 5). Walking on, you’ll see the gym on the right. It faces the ocean with floor-to-ceiling windows and is fully equipped and air-conditioned.
Opposite the gym is the sauna and down a few steps is the massage sala and shower.
Next to the massage sala is a wonderful indoor cinema with a high-definition screen measuring 2590mm by 1530mm (102 inches by 60 inches). Both Netflix and IPTV are available for everything from world news to live sports, children’s entertainment channels
and thousands of movies and TV shows. And in the kid’s bunk room as well as their own private shower room, but also built-in wardrobes, lots of storage space and a large wall-mounted TV again with Netflix. Opposite is the garden and the kid’s trampoline completing the Kid’s Zone.
All the bedrooms are more than spacious with built-in wardrobes, storage, king-size beds, black-out curtains, bedside reading lamps, table and chairs plus universal sockets and USB ports for re-charging phones and tablets. They all also have large bathrooms with toilet, sink and power showers.
The villa sits in a secluded location with no neighbour so the sky at night is often crystal clear for tranquil and serene stargazing.
There is a Western guest kitchen with Gorenje and Franke appliances and systems plus a separate chef’s kitchen behind it, again with top of the range equipment, fixtures and fittings. The indoor dining table seats 14 plus there is another alfresco dining table for 12 beside the pool and swim-up beach bar. And it’s this outdoor social area where you’ll no doubt spend much of your time.
Back into the villa and behind the sunken sala is an enormous lounge. There are large, soft sofas, eye-catching decor, a 75-inch HD flat screen TV mounted on the wall, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows, electric shades and it’s fully air conditioned. To one side there is also a seven foot pool table. The villa has a Sonos sound system with B&W speakers throughout the four different zones each with independent volume control.
The deck area is right beside the kid’s pool and the 21 metre long lap pool. And it’s also joined onto the swim-up beach bar that houses a state- of-the-art Brinkmann Select BBQ, a sink and enough fridge space to host a major beer and wine party.
Beyond the bar there’s another decking area with half-a-dozen sun loungers and this deck could easily become the perfect dance-floor in the evening.
At the beachside end of the pool, it forms an L shape with a further four sunken sun-loungers plus a sunken sala with cushions for relaxing beside the pool in the shade, overlooking the beach and stunning sunsets. From there, steps lead onto a lawn and the 25 metre beachfront and then down onto the beach where mangrove trees grow in the shallows.
As you gaze out from here you have Koh Tan to the left and then to the right is the expanse of Thong Krut bay which has plenty of oceanfront restaurants and a fleet of Thai long-tail fishing boats.
The villa has CCTV and a safe in every bedroom and has a Villa Manager, a private Chef and a live-in couple who have separate staff accommodation to the rear of the property. There is of course Wi-Fi throughout with several routers that automatically connect to your devices as you move around the villa.
