This luxurious villa is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac adjacent to the conservation area. The villa has all the amenities you might require for cooking, dining, entertaining or just relaxing by the pool. With a large lounge and Kitchen, 4 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and balconies to each bedroom the Villa is very spacious whether relaxing, entertaining, or sleeping. The large pool is not overlooked which allows very private swimming. The steps to the shallow end assist small children and the elderly to enter and exit the pool. Every room has its own air conditioning unit which can be set to cooling or heating as desired. The bedroom balconies provide for private relaxation away from the main party of Guests should you so desire. Being at the end of the cul-de-sac and with only a few Villas on the avenue means no passing traffic or revellers and no constant noisy car door banging to disturb your sleep. There are two large put-me-up beds for guests of 9 or 10.

ABOUT THE AREA

The Algarve's sunny shores offer perfect escapes for all types, from those seeking the hot nightlife of flashy, energetic Lagos to those desiring secluded stays in rambling Sagres. Portugal's most southerly region offers historical attractions in former Moorish capital Silves and fascinating Tavira, great golf, fabulous beaches from Praia da Luz to Armacao de Pera, thermal springs at Caldas de Monchique, and miles of limestone caves and grottoes, cliffs and bays along its rugged coastline.

Porto de Mos itself features one of the longest beaches in the Lagos area, stretching for well over a kilometre; only Meia Praia on the other side of the town is bigger. This is yet another fine Algarve beach and provides a quieter alternative to Lagos' often busy beaches. Here you will find the same golden sandstone cliffs, fine sand and clear blue sea. There is even a choice of beachside cafes and restaurants along with all the facilities one would expect from a Blue Flag beach. However, at Praia de Porto de Mos you will also find plenty of space.

Whilst the beach is largely backed by cliffs the main access point sits in a dip with a good sized car park providing level access to the beach - a far cry from Praia da Dona Ana around the corner with its wooden steps to negotiate. With seasonal lifeguard cover (easter to end of summer) this is a great family beach.

Unlike the sheltered coves which are tucked away behind Ponta da Piedade, the beach at Porto de Mos faces into the full power of the Atlantic ocean. This often makes for good surfing but it can also feel a little breezy at times.

The beach of Praia de Porto de Mos is a little way from Lagos' town centre (around 4km) but there are regular buses running from town and taxis are fairly cheap.
