Fresh and funky, and only steps to one of Costa Rica's finest beaches, this unique and colorful house is a haven of tranquility and inspiration. Sitting on half-an-acre of mature tropical gardens surrounded by coconut trees and jungle, the house has two stories with which to relax and entertain.The top story has three bedrooms with new mattresses and linens, and a bathroom that overlooks the jungle. The master bedroom looks out through french doors to a hammock area. Also upstairs is a wonderful sitting room where one can spend hours staring out at the verdant landscape below.
The kitchen downstairs is the heart of our home. It communicates with the dining space and two interior lounge areas as well as the exterior deck.
Downstairs is all open-plan and a wonderful place to entertain. Our dining table seats twelve and has been privy to many wonderful meals. There is also a downstairs toilet and washer dryer room.
Our exterior deck beside the kitchen has sun loungers and an Argentinian style BBQ that uses both gas and wood.
Our garden is filled with various tropical fruit trees - Cacao, Guanabana, Noni, Mangosteen, Moringa, Akee, Acai, Breadfruit and Plantain to name a few. We are situated down a small lane that leads to the stunning Punta Uva beach. Punta Uva beach was listed by TripAdvisor as the #1 beach in Central America https://www.tripadvisor.com/TravelersChoice-Beaches-cTop-g291958 (and the only Costa Rican beach listed in the world Top 25)
