Here, in fact, are imposing quarries that have fascinated and seduced the greatest artists of all time, such as Michelangelo Buonarroti.^For many, coming to Massa also means stopping in the most significant of its hamlets: Marina di Massa, a renowned seaside resort on the Apuan Riviera and an important tourist destination.
